Fraport reports positive results for the year to date.


German airport operator Fraport Group (FSE: FRA) has said that its operations continued to show positive results in the third fiscal quarter.

The group revenue from January to September 2006 was EUR1,619.6m, an increase of 3.6% compared to the same period in 2005. During the same period EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation) increased by 11% to EUR486.9m. At EUR200.1m the group's profit in the first nine months increased by 47.9% compared to last year's level.

The six airports of the Fraport Group served 56.3m passengers from January to September 2006, an increase of 1.5% year-on-year.
