Frank Joseph sells off almost all of his Key Communications properties.

We'd be hard put to count all the newsletters and newsletter companies Frank Joseph has founded, purchased and sold in his many years as reporter, editor and publisher. Just as the latest incarnation of Bethesda, Maryland-based Key Communications Group was settling into its third year with six newsletters and one directory, he's sold them all but Federal Personnel Guide.

Practice Owner's Advisor and Law Firm Profit Report (which won Newsletter Clearinghouse 1990 Promotion Gold Award) go to Newsletter Services Inc., Peter S. Nagan, publisher, Washington, D.C. Federal Employee Weekly Update goes to its chief competitor, Federal Employees' News Digest, Falls Church, Virginia. Managed Care Report goes to Capitol Publications, Washington, along with Joseph himself-as a consultant on business development. He says, "I've already arranged one acquisition, the rental of a mailing list Capitol had been trying to get for a long time, and a number of contacts which should bring in new business."

Editor's note: Joseph still publishes Federal Personnel Guide (annual, $9.95).
