Francis L. King, 79.
Born in Worcester, he was the son of the late John and Elizabeth (Keenan) King. He was a graduate f Holy Cross class of 1952 and a Korean War Veteran serving in the U.S. Army. Frank worked in the transportation industry for over 40 years. He was a Past Member and President of the North Shore Traffic Club, Member of the Boston Traffic Assoc., the Traffic Club of New England and the Delta Nu Alpha Transportation Fraternity. Frank was a longtime resident of both Needham and Humarock.
In addition to his wife he leaves his children, Marybeth Mungovan and her husband Richard of Princeton and Joseph F. King of Needham; his grandchildren, Elizabeth and Christopher Mungovan of Princeton; his siblings, Elizabeth Moynagh of Harwich Port and Jane Conlin of Worcester. He was the brother-in-law of Geraldine McCormick of Needham. He was the brother of the late John and Thomas King. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave., Needham, Wednesday at 9 AM. Funeral mass in St. Josephs Church, Needham, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Interment St. Josephs Cemetery, West Roxbury.
