Francis Gary Powers, Jr. Joins PACEL Corp, PLRP, as Business Development Manager; Jeanette Taylor Joins Company As Accounting Manager.
Two experienced business managers have joined PACEL Corp (NASD, OTC, BB: PLRP) to solidify the company's business development and accounting areas, it was announced today by David Calkins, President of PACEL.
The two new executives are Francis Gary Powers, Jr., who has been engaged as PACEL's Business Development Manager, and Jeanette Taylor, who will assume the duties of Accounting Manager.
Mr. Powers, formerly with U.S. Inspect, a national home inspection company, has more than ten years experience in public relations and business development. Previously he spent four years as Executive Director for the City of Fairfax's Downtown Fairfax Coalition, a public-private partnership dedicated to the historical and economic revitalization of Old Town Fairfax, Virginia.
He also worked in construction and real estate development in California before moving to Virginia.
He holds a Bachelors' of Arts degree in Philosophy from California State University, Los Angeles, and a Master's Degree in Public Administration/certification in Non-profit Management from George Mason University, Fairfax, VA.
Jeanette Taylor has 15 years of experience in the accounting field. Before joining PACEL, she was involved with the automation of the accounting function for numerous small to medium sized software technology companies in Northern Virginia area. She also spent five years in the mortgage investment-banking field as a Senior Manager for a large commercial investment banking firm in Warrenton, VA.
Prior to that, she was Foreclosure Officer and Asset Manager for a savings and loan association. She holds a Bachelors' of Arts degree from George Mason University, Fairfax, VA.

It is of note that in 1996, Francis Gary Power, Jr. founded the Cold War Museum a traveling exhibit that displays historical artifacts associated with the U-2 incident of May 1960 when a U.S. plane, piloted by Mr. Powers' father, was shot down over the Soviet Union.
The traveling exhibit promotes interest in the creation of a Cold War Memorial, to honor the men and women who served during the Cold War, and a permanent Cold War Museum, which will exhibit artifacts and memorabilia associated with various Cold War events.
