Franchising community honors excellence: nominate franchising's leaders to be considered for IFA's major awards.

As baseball season gets underway, fans of the diamond May not automatically think of the Oklahoma City Red Hawks when they conjure up images of the sport, But the team is high on the list of activities that Bob Funk, CFE, monitors. But then again, Funk is a majority owner of the team.

When he's not hanging around the dugout, Funk keeps score at Express Employment Professionals, the rapidlygrowing international staffing firm that he founded and among the reasons why he was named the International Franchise Association's most recent inductee to the IFA Hall of Fame.

Funk also has a few other things on his daily agenda to stay abreast of, such as active service of the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce, the board of trustees of Oklahoma Baptist University and the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum ... not to mention being a leading Angus cattle producer.

This is the caliber (pardon the cowboy pun) of folks you'll find on the list of honorees who have made their marks in business and society and worthy of recognition as recipients of a major IFA award.
