France win as anthem gaffe riles Albania; ROUND-UP.
Albania threatened to pull out of their Group H clash in Paris after the wrong national anthem was played before the game.
Edoardo Reja's side were left bemused as the anthem of Andorra - France's next opponents in Paris on Tuesday - was belted out at the Stade de France.
They refused to play before the right tune was played and that led to a 10-minute delay.
To make matters worse, when the right song was tracked down and about to be played the stadium announcer said: "Please respect the Armenia national anthem."
More pain was in store when the game finally started as the world champions claimed a 4-1 victory.
The French took the lead in eight minutes, winger Kingsley Coman slotting home left-footed from inside the box.
Olivier Giroud added No.2 in 26 minutes before Coman netted his second and France's third with a right-foot strike in 67 minutes.
Jonathan Ikone made it four late on before Sokol Cikalleshi hit a consolation from the spot.
On-form Iceland kept up the pressure on France with a 3-0 win at home to Moldova.
Kolbeinn Sigthorsson opened the scoring just before the break then Birkir Bjarnason and Jon Dadi Boedvarsson sealed victory.
Iceland are level on points with France and Turkey - who saw off Andorra 1-0 thanks to Ozan Tufan's last-minute strike.
Elsewhere, Kosovo came from behind to stun the Czech Republic with a 2-1 home win that moves them second in Group A.
Patrik Schick netted in 16 minutes, only for Vedat Muriqi to equalise for Kosovo before Mergim Vojvoda clinched victory in 67 minutes.
In Group B, runaway leaders Ukraine won 3-0 in Lithuania.
Oleksandr Zinchenko fired Ukraine ahead in seven minutes and Marlos doubled their lead on the half hour. Rus Malinovsky added a third on the hour.
They remain eight points ahead of second-placed Portugal who won 4-2 in Serbia - William Carvalho, Goncalo Guedes, Cristiano Ronaldo and Bernardo
