France : TURBOMECA inks repair and overhaul deal with SAAB.

Part of the Safran group, Turbomeca has inked a contract with Saab AB for the repair and overhaul of Arrius 2K2 modules and engines fitted on A109 LUH helicopters of the Swedish Air Force.

The deal is a customized Global Support Package (GSP) for the Swedish Air Force A109 LUHS helicopters set with Turbomeca s Arrius 2K2.

The deal includes 43 Arrius 2K2 engines in use (40 installed on 20 A109 LUHS and 3 spares) and their associated accessories.

Saab is in charge of the maintenance comprising warehousing and availability management of the entire operation (except line maintenance and foreign operation bases).
