France : DutyFly Solutions partnership takes over Air Tahiti Nui inflight concession.

DutyFly Solutions along with its partner Imporlux have taken over the inflight concession for French Polynesian airline Air Tahiti Nui, effective 1 October.

Imporlux is a luxury goods importer based in Tahiti and is the long-time duty free concession partner of Air Tahiti Nui.

Now, the company wishes to install its inflight business with the addition of a leading European player in DutyFly.

The association of these two travel retail experts will allow for the development of strong collaborations, specific to developing the inflight business of Air Tahiti Nui and will see the arrival of a new inflight player in the Pacific through this alliance, the partners said.

Dutyfly Solutions works with Air France, Air Caraibes, Iberia, Alitalia, Transavia, CSA and ECAIR. Its IT and banking solutions, restocking systems and other solutions will be implemented with Air Tahiti Nui.

The partners said, Air Tahiti Nui, a Polynesian airline created in 1996 and based in French Polynesia, operates international flights mainly to and from Los Angeles, Tokyo, Paris and Auckland. It carries on average 450,000 passengers per year, many of them high end tourists. The business represents strong development potential for Imporlux and Dutyfly Solutions.
