France,United States : DLA Piper announces significant new development in Paris.

DLA Piper has announced that it will join offices in Paris with boutique law firm, Frieh Bouhenic. This move will be effective as of 1 October 2012 and will create a substantial Paris office with over 30 partners and more than 40 other lawyers.

The firm's new Paris office will have one of the most significant French capabilities of any Global law firm and will service the needs of a multitude of French, European, Asian, Middle Eastern and US companies and multinational corporations, commercial and investment banks, private equity and other investment funds.

This move is an illustration of DLA Piper's commitment to expand its presence in the key global markets and is representative of its strategy to add quality and credibility in the G20 economies.

Frieh Bouhenic was established in January 2011 as the result of a merger between Frieh & Associes and Bouhenic Baudin & Associes. Led by former Linklaters partner Michel Frieh, Frieh Bouhenic is highly regarded for its expertise in business law most notably in the fields of mergers and acquisitions, private equity, acquisition and corporate financings, litigation, employment, restructuring and insolvency.
