Fragrance symposium to unveil cultural perceptions. (News Front).

* The Fragrance Foundation's "Global Symposium: well-being, aroma-chology and the future of fragrance," will take place Oct. 16 and 17 in Paris at the L'Empire. At the symposium, intercultural consulting agency Worlding will present results of a survey about fragrance perceptions and expectations in France, Italy, Spain, Germany, the UK, Japan and the U.S. Preliminary results revealed older consumers are drawn to well-being products, and a universally shared well-being category is life stages. The notion of summer/winter and day/evening fragrances exists in all countries except for Japan, where consumers wear different fragrances based on their harmony with society.
