Fragile Spurs won't win league title.

Byline: mark LAWRENSON

IF anyone wanted evidence of why Tottenham Hotspur won't win the Premier League title this season, it came at the Emirates on Sunday.

In the past Tottenham could always be relied upon to falter in big games, particularly when travelling up north, but they have got a lot better in recent years.

However, they aren't in the same class as Manchester City and Manchester United.

Tottenham play great football and have outstanding individuals, but have a fallibility of collapsing on occasion and that's what happened against Arsenal at the weekend.

Tottenham have great attackers but once you put them under pressure, those attackers aren't anywhere near as good defensively.

Harry Redknapp (far left) has done a great job but Tottenham will still only finish third.

And I don't think the team has in any way been affected by talk of Redknapp and the England job.
