Four-day training course for government officers on "Time Management" concludes.
Javed Iqbal Director/Course Coordinator, Ministry of Education, Training and Standards in Higher Education Pakistan Manpower Institute distributed certificates among the participants of the training course.
More than fifty officers representing various federal and provincial governments including information, police, regulatory bodies, education and research participated in the event.
The training course cum workshop was systematically designed for the participating officers in order to further improve their efficiency and build capacity to enable them perform in their respective organizations by utilizing their abilities and knowledge they have learnt during the course.
Academic experts representing National Defence University, International Islamic University Islamabad and Muhammad Ali Jinnah University Islamabad delivered lectures encompassing the importance of time management in their daily life utilize their best efforts in utilization of time management in their respective organizations.
Dr.Muhammad Zia- Ur- Rehman Assistant Professor, Faculty of Contemporary studies Department of Leadership and Management Studies ,National Defence University (NDU) Islamabad gave presentations on "Time Management-Significance and Conceptualization " and Time-a key resources: symptoms and misconception opportunities and techniques to manage time effectively."
He also gave lecture on "value of Time and understanding the worth of time in personal life".
Similarly Prof.Awas Ejaz Khan Faculty of Management Sciences International Islamic University (IIU) presented his paper on "Organization and management go together keeping the balance through time management" and "Guidelines to overcome hindrances in managing time at the workplace".
Prof. Ahsan Mehmood Ahmed Faculty of the Management Sciences at Muhammad Ali Jinnah University gave lecture on "Dealing with procrastination the art of delegation and its significance in time management" and "Managing time in daily life through personals skills".
They highlighted the topics with special reference to Time Management, saying that time was a commodity/concept and through time management one can bring a change in his or her daily life.
The participants of the workshop on the occasion appreciated the organizers for arranging such kind of on job training courses for the government officials for their capacity building and skill development.
