MET (Muscle Energy Technique) Course For the lower limb

This course is open to all healthcare professionals, who want to learn or explore this method of treatment. Muscle Energy Techniques made simple

This is a one day course with Author and lecturer David Lintonbon and Somuz Miah

You will learn how to identify specific soft tissue dysfunction and weakness within the musculoskeletal system, and to harness powerful Muscle Energy Techniques to restore muscle function to your patients.

Author and Lecturer David Lintonbon has had years of expertise in this field which will be demonstrated during this course.

David will teach you the theory of MET and, once that has been understood, he will take you on a muscle energy technique 'journey'. After demonstrating functional assessment testing for the muscles of posture' that can become chronically tight and dysfunctional, David will show you how to apply a specific Muscle Energy Technique to correct these dysfunctional muscles to restore normality.

Prolotherapy injection course (Knee & Foot)

Date: Saturday, 17th September 2016

Prolotherapy is an innovative injection technique developed by Hackett in the US, effective in treating most soft tissue injuries. It is an elegant refinement of the centuries-old sclerotherapy which produced scar tissue to stabilise joints and relieve pain.

Prolotherapy involves injection of hyperosmolar glucose or other irritating solution to the enthesis. This produces tissue damage by osmotic shock' and needle trauma, initiating the wound healing cascade.

Podiatric Acupuncture Course Podiatric Pain Management Dry Needling

The weekend of 24th and 25th September 2016

This course is open to all HCPC registered chiropodists or podiatrists L/A certificate is not required.

This is two days of intensive practical training with David Lintonbon and Somuz Miah, based on western principles of acupuncture, called dry needling.

You will learn when and how to utilise this procedure safely.

This course will cover treatment for knee to toe problems.

Steroid Injection Course (Knee & Foot)

Date: Saturday, 15th October 2016

Steroid injections are useful for the treatment of many musculoskeletal conditions, particularly in the treatment of painful inflammatory conditions affecting human tendons, ligaments, muscle, and joint conditions, such as osteoarthritis, and tendonitis.
