Four die in school shooting rampage.
Four people were killed and several others wounded in the worst school shooting in Canada in a decade.
Teacher Marie Janvier, 23, was among those shot dead at the community high school where she worked in La Loche, Saskatchewan.
The teenage killer shot his two brothers dead at home before heading to La Loche Community School on Friday and opening fire on pupils and staff.
Marie's father Kevin - the town's mayor - said: "He shot two of his brothers at home and made his way to the school. I'm just so sad."
Marie was Janvier's only child and he said he didn't know if the shooter knew his daughter.
An assistant at the school, which has 900 pupils aged 12 to 18, was also believed among the dead . Two of the wounded are believed to be in critical conditions in hospital.
Royal Canadian Mounted Police Chief Superintendent Maureen Levy said the gunman was arrested outside the school.
One pupil, 10th grader Noel Desjarlais, said: "I ran outside the school. There was lots of screaming, there was about six, seven shots before I got outside.
"I believe there was more shots by the time I did get out."
Police have not given a motive for the shooting nor named the suspect or victims.
Mass shootings are relatively rare in Canada, which has stricter gun laws than the United States.
