Four bike riders knocked down near Gambat.

KHAIRPUR -- Four youths riding two motorcycles were knocked down by a speeding passenger van near Gambat bypass along the National Highway in Khairpur district on Monday.

The area police said that Raja, Suresh, Prabhu and Chandar all in their early 20s and belonging to the Marrechho community were rushed to the Gambat Hospital, where doctors pronounced Raja, Prabhu and Chandar, residents of Khuhra village, dead on arrival. Suresh, a resident of a village near Kandiaro town, succumbed to his injuries during treatment a little later, they added.

The victims were labourers and going to Gambat for work, they said.
