Fountains under reconstruction in Bishkek.

Employees of the Tazalyk municipal enterprise are fixing the fountain mechanisms - pumps, electric motors, water pipes, electrical switchboards, change valves.

Work began in November. Currently, works are continuing on the fountains on Ala-Too Square and side fountains near the Historical Museum. They are cleaned, bolts in mechanisms are changed, valves and hoists are repaired.

There are 17 municipal fountains in Bishkek. About 10,000-11,000 cubic meters of water are consumed per month. Fountains are working on schedule, in the hot season they are periodically turned off so that the mechanism does not overheat.

The fountain complex near the Historical Museum appeared 34 years ago. The light-music fountain, flower clock and the monument to Manas on Ala-Too Square were installed in 2009.
