Foton launches EC Mobile Truck.
'STRIKE anywhere' may now have a new meaning into it-especially since Foton Philippines unveiled its new 'game-changing' service program.
In an attempt to further bolster the company's after-sales service, United Asia Automotive Group Inc. (UAAGI), official distributor of Foton vehicles in the country, introduced their new Easy and Convenient (EC) Mobile Service Truck Program at a brief ceremony at their plant in Clark, Pampanga.
The pioneering service program will allow authorized mechanics to attend to the customer's vehicle using specialized Foton tools and genuine parts for those who are not located near dealerships.
This simply just shows Foton's objective of making it easier and more convenient for their customers to avail of their services.
'We know how important the maintenance of commercial vehicles are that's why we're bringing service right at your garage,' said UAAGI President Rommel Sytin.
'We are aware that not all our customers are in close proximity to a dealership. That is a pain point we want to address with this new and timely service,' he added.
The EC Mobile Truck, based on Foton Tornado light-duty truck, fitted with a customized body which accommodates a fully furnished make-shift service office features essential tools to be able to perform preventive maintenance schedule (PMS) and other minor to major repairs.
Making it like a 'full service right at your doorstep,' the EC Mobile Truck is fitted with a 3.5-kW generator, which supplies power to the tools, including a 1.5 HP air compressor, and impact wrenches. There are also two large capacity oil pans to avoid spills, a built-in oil depository tank, a creeper and other essential hand tools. There are also spotlights to help mechanics work in dark areas or even at night. It is basically self-sufficient as this serves as a mobile casa which can go to anywhere the vehicles are needed to be serviced.
Designed with a swing-up canopy and dropside panel which functions as a working bench, the truck also showcases two sets of 220-volt outlets, anti-skid flooring and a first-aid cabinet.
For individual dealerships, the EC Mobile Service Truck effectively extends their service range.
'We believe that people needn't be inconvenienced unneccesarily by having to bring their Foton vehicles to the shop for preventive maintenance work or repair,' shared Sytin.
For now, only select Foton dealerships are offering this new after-sales service. They are Foton A. Bonifacio (Autoperfection Inc.); Foton Mandaue, Cebu (Foton Cebu Inc.); Foton Matina, Davao (Gateway Motors Inc.); Foton Pasong Tamo (Cherub Auto Dealer Inc.); and Foton Quezon Avenue (Manindra Auto Corp.).
However, Sytin doled out that the EC Mobile Service Program will also be available at the rest of their dealership network nationwide in the future. More so, the mobile service program is not just for commercial vehicles as passenger vehicle owners can also avail themselves of it.
'We are confident that these services will help both our dealer-partners and our customers by positively enhancing their Foton brand experience,' said Sytin.
