Foster admits diet was rash; SPORT CONFIDENTIAL.

h d These days West Brom's goalkeeper (above) focuses on healthy eating, long gym work outs and detailed analysis of his opponents.

But when he joined Manchester United aged 22 and was loaned out to Watford, Foster had a very laid back approach.

He said: "I didn't used to think about things. I'd roll out of bed at 11am on a Saturday and have a bacon sarnie ... then go and play in the Premier League.

"It never occured to me to be more professional - sometimes I'd have a Chinese takeaway the night before a game!"
