Forum to boost ties.

The third ministerial meeting of the Arab-Sino Co-operation Forum will be held in Bahrain from May 20 to 22.

Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa yesterday received Information Ministry's assistant under-secretary for culture and national heritage Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa and discussed preparations for the parallel Arab-Sino cultural event, scheduled to be held at Bahrain National Museum.

It features an exhibition showcasing Chinese ceramics and a musical concert marking the legendary Silk Road.

Bahrain and China will issue a special stamp celebrating the occasion.

The Cairo-based Arab League hosted the first meeting in 2006 while the second was held in China two years later.
