Enterprise Wireless LAN Market Expected to Reach $3 Billion by 2002

Fortress Technologies, a leading developer of robust, cutting edge wireless and wire-line VPN security solutions, today announced an agreement with Accton Technology to integrate its wireless link layer security (wLLS) technology into Accton's wireless LAN products.

Accton holds a sincere concern for customer needs, and satisfying those needs is their first priority. Consistent with their customer first philosophy, Accton plans to incorporate wLLS throughout its enterprise grade wireless LAN solutions to address their customer security concerns. wLLS enables Accton and their partners to offer the highest level of security available for wireless LANs today. Integrating wLLS will provide Accton and its OEM customers with the immediate ability to proliferate the use of their 802.11b solutions while saving on engineering expense, providing a time to market advantage and ultimately increasing their market share.

We are excited to be the first company to incorporate this proven and secure technology into a commercial networking product line," said Yimin Doo, President of Accton Technology. "Security is an underlying concern of our customers as they develop leading edge communications solutions. We believe wLLS will deliver the confidence enterprises demand prior to deploying their wireless network."

"We are very excited to be working with Accton to bring Fortress' wireless security technology to an even broader set of customers worldwide. Accton is an established technology company pursuing perfection and creativity in order to satisfy their customers' ever changing needs.
