LEWIS Hamilton is eager to make it third time lucky in Valencia as he chases a hat-trick of wins for the first time in his Formula One career.

After back-to-back victories in Turkey and Canada, Hamilton heads into this weekend's race as the fifth different leader of this year's championship although he leads by just three points from Jenson Button. He aims to stretch that on a circuit where McLaren are expected to have an edge over rivals Red Bull Racing and Ferrari. And after finishing second in each of the two races at the port track, Hamilton is determined to go one better.
