Former bar on market.

A VICTORIAN building which was home to a Cardiff bar and restaurant is on the market.

Previously leased to bar and restaurant 29 Park Place - which bore the same name as the address - the venue, run by Croesy Bars, announced its closure earlier this month.

Director Jon Saunders cited increasing business rates as the "straw that broke the camel's back."

The building is being marketed by the Cardiff office of Fletcher Morgan in a bid to attract a new bar and restaurant. The identity of the landlord is not being disclosed. The building extends to just over 4,300 sq ft and has an annual rent of PS40,000.
