Former Chairman of State National Security Committee kept in custody.

The panel of judges of the military court considered the request of the military prosecutor's office seeking cancellation of the ruling of the military court of Bishkek garrison of 20 December 2011 for former Chairman of the State National Security Committee Murat Sutalinov. Murat Sutalinov's attorney asked to uphold the ruling of the military court, which sanctioned house arrest for his client. Attorneys of victims asked to cancel this ruling and to keep Sutalinov in custody. The panel of judges sustained the request of the military prosecutor's office and canceled the ruling of the military court of Bishkek garrison of 20 December 2011. Murat Sutalinov will be kept in custody in the detention facility of the State National Security Committee.
