Former Celt cleared over club brawl.

FORMER Celtic star Evander Sno has been cleared of attempted murder and aggravated assault.

The midfielder was involved in a brawl which left two men seriously hurt outside an Amsterdam in August 2013.

Sno, 30, alongside two family members, was accused of "hitting, punching, shoving and kicking" two victims in the face and body and continuing the attack after they were on the ground.

He denied the charges and a judge yesterday ruled that there was no intent to hurt.

Sno won two league titles at Celtic before leaving to join Dutch giants Ajax in 2008.

But his career has faltered since he suffered a heart attack during a reserves match in 2010 and was revived by a defibrillator.
