Remarking on Hadi's appointment, Jones said: "We are fortunate to have hired an executive of Baraq's caliber to lead this strategically and financially important region for us.

"Baraq's 20 years of managing project delivery and asset management services in the region have positioned him well to drive our continued growth.

"We expect his enterprise-level experience with the Gulf's largest asset owner [and] operators, and contractors, to help us deliver increasing value to our customers."

At Bentley, Hadi spent two years as country manager of the company's Saudi Arabia operation, and managed its acquisitions in South Africa and Turkey.
