Former Bahrain resident wins award in India.

A FORMER Bahrain resident has been honoured with a major award in India.

Dr Prem Lal Joshi, who was an accounting professor at Bahrain University from 1993 to 2012, was presented with the Bharat Nirman Award for his contributions to education training.

Dr Joshi, who is currently working with Multimedia University in Malaysia, is a well-known accounting scholar who has published more than 116 research papers in accredited international journals.

The award was presented at a ceremony in Kolkata, India, where 12 people were honoured for their achievements.
