Formaldehyde meter takes continuous measurements.

GrayWolf Sensing Solutions offers a portable, 1 continuous measurement formaldehyde (HCHO) meter. A reusable sensor cartridge employs the chemical reaction between formaldehyde and [beta]-diketone on a porous glass. The yellowing that results from this reaction is measured via photoelectric photometry with accurate readings to <20 ppb HCHO, without significant cross-sensitivity, making it suitable for indoor air quality (IAO) applications. The unit "re-zeros" between 30-min tests, allowing for continuous monitoring, and provides an output for real-time connection to proprietary Advanced Sense meters, WolfPack area monitors and WolfSense-enabled mobile PCs. The FM-801 may be used for continuous monitoring and/or 30-min spot checks. The sensor cartridges are re-useable; up to 1,000 tests/cartridge (at low formaldehyde levels), and the base unit may be used as an independent, simple data logger with data downloaded to WolfSense PC software.
