Forget the traffic Run to Work.
Runners interested in commuting on foot are urged to choose a safe, convenient and pleasant route, and to plot the basics in advance--where to shower, which clothes to change into, and how to get home. As always, safety is paramount, so dress in light-colored gear and follow accepted rules of the road. And, if a full-fledged commute isn't feasible, consider a truncated, midday or alternative run to celebrate the day.
