Foresight Software, Inc., today announced Graphical Dispatch Board, an integrated module of the company's Service Management System designed for field managers and dispatchers to quickly monitor and reassign service orders and field engineers.

Service Management System is a leading client/server customer interaction software package that automates and integrates help desk, call management, contract administration, field service dispatch, inventory logistics, repair center and financial management operations within service organizations. It is used by companies that require a combination of help desk, field engineers and repair center operations in order to service their customers.

Service Management Systems new Graphical Dispatch Board streamlines the process of monitoring and reassigning service orders to field engineers. Dispatchers can reassign service calls through an intuitive, drag-and-drop function which automatically validates that the reassigned engineer has the appropriate skill set for the job and is available for the call. Graphical Dispatch Board also provides a clear, visual representation of the current status of dispatched service orders and their priority. This allows Service Management System users to meet customer expectations and contract commitments while optimizing the deployment of resources.
