Foreign Minister Milososki visits Brazil.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Macedonia, Antonio Milososki, paid a visit to the Federative Republic of Brazil on 2-3 May, which is the first visit of a high-ranking Macedonian official to this country. At the meeting with his host, Brazilian Foreign Minister Antonio de Aguiar Patriota, the two officials tabled the bilateral relations between Macedonia and Brazil and agreed that the visit would contribute to promoting the cooperation further.

The two ministers discussed also the possibilities for promoting the economic cooperation and trade, for expanding the legal frame- work with bilateral agreements and for multilateral cooperation. Following the meeting, the two ministers signed the Agreement on the Exemption of Visa Requirements between the Government of the Republic of Macedonia and the Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil.
