Fore resources being acquired by advanced disposal services.

Advanced Disposal Services Inc. is acquiring Fore Recycling, which operates in the Gulf Coast area of Mississippi and Louisiana.

"We continue to grow our recycling business here in the Gulf Coast area, and hope all of our customers know that they have a waste and recycling partner in Advanced Disposal helping them reach their goals of waste reduction and sustainability throughout their homes and business," said Advanced Disposal's Vice President of Recycling Eric "Poncho" James. "Our goal is to build upon Fore Recycling's great reputation."

Acquisition of Fore Recycling, of Gulfport, Miss., comes after last month's acquisition of a recycling facility in Nashville, Tenn. Advanced Disposal says it wants to expand its recycling business companywide.

Fore Recycling covers the Mississippi counties of Hancock, Harrison, Jackson, Stone and Pearl River counties in Mississippi as well as the city of Slidell, La.
