Ford unveils exciting promotion this season.
Apart from these amazing offers, customers can also look forward to unbelievable prices across the Ford range, 6 years unlimited extended mileage protection and quick and easy financing facility.
This season, Ford aims to present its customers with innovations that will encourage them to Go Further. When Ford enthusiasts choose any Ford, what they get is a host of innovations which in many cases are segment-firsts. This means for an unbelievable value for money, customers can get a better vehicle with better features, better technologies and a brand name that is constantly making waves around the world by leading in innovation.
Ford Motor Company has in its range some of the most technologically advanced, segment-first feature-packed vehicles in the world. These include the 2013 Ford Explorer, the 2013 Ford Taurus and the redesigned 2012 Ford Focus.
The Ford Explorer sits squarely in the SUV realm. It is very much attuned to what today's large SUV shoppers want. It drives well, returns good fuel economy and retains the versatility that it is known for.
The Ford Explorer comes standard with a 3.5-litre V6 that produces 290 horsepower and 35.3 Kg-M of torque. A six-speed selectshift transmission, four-wheel drive, Ford's Terrain Management System, a selectable four-mode system that optimises traction electronically for different conditions, hill descent control and hill start assist are standard.
Every Ford Explorer comes standard with stability and traction control, front side airbags, side curtain airbags and MyKey, which allows customers to specify limits for vehicle speed and stereo volume. The Explorer's stability control system also includes Ford's Curve Control, which can monitor speed carried into a corner and decelerate if necessary.
The all new 2013 Ford Taurus delivers more of what large sedan customers really want for the 2013 model year - with even better fuel economy, more technology, design refinement, improved craftsmanship and enhanced driving dynamics.
The 2013 Taurus is powered by a 3.5-litre Ti-VCT V6 engine that produces 288 horsepower and 35.12 kg-m of torque. The engine benefits from the addition of twin independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT), achieving better fuel economy, more horsepower and a reduction in part-throttle emissions compared to the previous standard Taurus V6. This engine delivers a better fuel efficiency, with 10 per cent more horsepower than the previous model.
Each Taurus engine is mated to a unique six-speed automatic transmission specially tailored to that application. Six-speed transmissions add fuel economy and performance, as they allow for lower gearing to be optimised for improved off-the-line acceleration, yet enable higher gears to help provide economical cruising by keeping engine rpm levels low.
Standard equipment on the entry-level SE includes 18-inch painted aluminium wheels, automatic headlights, integrated blind spot mirrors, LED taillights, an exterior access keypad, cruise control, air-conditioning, a six-way power driver and passenger seat, a 60/40-split-folding rear seat, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel and a six-speaker sound system with CD player and an audio input jack.
The 2013 Ford Taurus LTD comes equipped with the MyFord Touch interface which consists of multiple display screens and the ability to input commands for various audio, phone via voice, touch controls or buttons on the steering wheel.
Ford vehicles are known the world over for their exceptional safety, luxury and unsurpassed technological superiority. Ford ploughs in millions of dollars into R&D each year to ensure that every Ford offers maximum safety and motoring pleasure for its customers.
