Ford Middle East ad drive goes off beaten track.

Dubai: Ford Middle East has launched an integrated advertising and communications campaign highlighting its smart technologies.

The campaign with its focus on off-beat humour uses a young Arab character, Youssef, and his friends to highlight the latest Ford models and demonstrate features such as Blind Spot Information System with Cross Traffic Alert, EcoBoost, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping System, and Foot-Activated Liftgate.

"The Youssef commercials are humorous while clearly highlighting the Ford technology in a fresh way," said Paul Anderson, Ford's regional marketing director.

The campaign was developed by Team Detroit in the US and Y&R Dubai.
