ARNOLD - William J. Arnold, 79, of Eugene, died Aug. 18. Poole-Larsen Funeral Home, Eugene, in charge of arrangements.

BAKER - David L. Baker, 53, of Riggins, Idaho, formerly of Eugene, died Aug. 18. A celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. Sept. 7 at Orchard Point Marina at Fern Ridge Reservoir, Eugene. Flahiff Mortuary, Homedale, Idaho, in charge of arrangements.

BENNICK - Richard W. "Pete" Bennick, 81, of Junction City, died Aug. 20. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home, Junction City. Burial will be at Alford Cemetery, Harrisburg.

BROWN - F. Morris "Brownie" Brown, 87, of Eugene, died Aug. 19. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Eugene First Church of the Nazarene. Private inurnment will be at West Lawn Memorial Park, Eugene. Musgrove Family Mortuary, Eugene, in charge of arrangements.

CASTLE - Jack Gunnar Castle, 75, of Springfield, died Aug. 20. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at Major Family Funeral Home, Springfield. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mount Vernon Cemetery, Springfield.

COX - Charley Nelson Cox Jr., 85, of Cottage Grove, died Aug. 19. The graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Bemis Cemetery, Cottage Grove. Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel, Cottage Grove, in charge of arrangements.

DOOLITTLE - Donald Clayton Doolittle Jr., 60, of Roseburg, died Aug. 17. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Wilson's Chapel of the Roses, Roseburg. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, Roseburg. Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Roseburg Memorial Gardens.
