Football: Togo ace gets a go.

QPR are on the verge of signing Togo World Cup star Alaixys Romao.

The midfielder is contracted to French Second Division club CS Lohans- Cuiseaux and played in Togo's group games.

Ramao, 22, was once a France under-18 international and will make his QPR debut in Tuesday's friendly at Aldershot.

Rangers boss Gary Waddock will also give a run-out to striker Joel Drogba, brother of Chelsea star Didier.

Chairman Gianni Paladini said: "If Gary likes what he sees then we can do our best to keep the players."
