Football: Mark's back for Saints as Rachid stays.

ST JOHNSTONE were boosted yesterday by the news Mark Lynch and Rachid Djebaili, pictured, are available again to help the fight for SPL survival.

Lynch, on loan from Manchester United, resumed training at McDiarmid Park yesterday after a month out with an ankle injury.

He said: "If the gaffer wants me to play against Dunfermline I'm prepared to do a job for him.

"I'm fully fit, although I haven't played a game in four weeks. But I was getting intensive treatment down at Old Trafford."

Djebaili is prepared to put his international career on the line to help Saints.

He said: "Algeria wanted me to leave this week for their African Cup training camp. I wouldn't have been back in Scotland until February 11 .

"My season here would have been over, just as I've started to get a regular game."
