Football: LOAN GER CALLED UP.

RANGERS youngster Paul Reid has been named in the England Under-20 squad for Wednesday's clash against Finland.

The Ibrox kid, currently on loan at Preston North End, has been called in for the friendly at Bolton's Reebok Stadium.

Reid, who joined Rangers in a pounds 500,000 deal 20 months ago, is at Deepdale trying to gain first-team experience after failing to break into the senior squad at Ibrox.

Reid said: "I do not regret going there for a moment because it has improved me as a player."
