Football: Doncaster 5 Bristol Rovers1.

MICHAEL McINDOE scored a hat-trick as Doncaster clinched a comfortable victory over ten-man Bristol Rovers.

Midfielder Graham Hyde was sent off midway through the first half for a challenge on Paul Green after an earlier booking, but Doncaster were already ahead with new loan-signing Chris Brown creating a chance for Fran Tierney to head home.

Brown doubled the lead, scoring from close range, before an attempted clearance from keeper Kevin Miller bounced off McIndoe and into the net on the stroke of half-time.

McIndoe volleyed his second, but Lewis Haldane pulled one back for the visitors, before McIndoe completed his treble from the spot.
