Football ban for 5 thugs.

Five Hibs hooligans have been banned from football grounds for fighting before a Scottish Cup match.

They were also fined a total of nearly pounds 3000 for their part in the mass brawl in Ayr on March 10.

Paul Donoghue, 29, Leon Walker, 27, and Michael Imrie, 23, all of Edinburgh, and James Clark, 26, of West Linton, Peeblesshire, pleaded guilty last week to behaviour likely to incite disorder.

Gavin McCaig, 43, of Edinburgh, had earlier pleaded guilty to fighting with Ayr United supporters on his way to the ground.

Hibs won the game on 2-0 on their way to the Scottish Cup final in May.
