On the next play, Brink was intercepted by linebacker Jerome Boyd at the five, and the Ducks drove 69 yards in 10 plays for a field goal, and by the time WSU mounted another scoring threat, Oregon led 47-0.

QUOTE OF THE DAY

"I could tell it wasn't just a little owie, and I was hoping and praying it was maybe just a one-game deal and we could get through this game without him. It's going to be tough. I know that's football, and that's this time of year, but we had two big blows today, and that's two tremendous athletes that we lost." - UO receivers coach Robin Pflugrad, on the loss of wide receiver Cameron Colvin and then running back Jeremiah Johnson to injury.
