Football: Yakubu sets his sights on Europe.

PORTSMOUTH striker Aiyegbeni Yakubu has admitted he would jump at the chance to join a team playing European football.

The Nigeria international has been linked with a number of Premiership clubs and Pompey manager Velimir Zajec has already stated the club would let the 11-goal forward leave if they received a good offer.

``In football you never know but anything can happen, '' Yakubu said. ``I love the club, I enjoy myself here. I want to achieve something. It is a good feeling to play in a bigger club, to play with a club in the Champions League and play in Europe. ''
