Football: We paid penalty for Turin.
JUVENTUS coach Marcello Lippi has a simple explanation for his side's failure to beat Rosenborg: they used up all of their Champions League luck against Celtic.
The Italian giants were denied a win on Tuesday by a late Rosenborg penalty - after hitting the woodwork three times.
And Lippi believes the result was payback for the contested penalty that gave them victory over Martin O'Neill's men in the Group E opener.
Lippi said: "With Celtic we were lucky. This time it was the exact opposite.
"We played really well and created so many chances, but it was not to be.
"That's what happens in football. Sometimes luck runs with you, sometimes against you."
Rosenborg coach Nils Arne Eggen believes the draw will give his side a massive confidence boost ahead of their trip to Parkhead on October 10.
He said: "The players deserve credit for not giving up and we have to take that attitude to Glasgow for the game against Celtic."
OUT OF LUCK: Lippi
