Football: Ticket warning.

THE SFA last night pleaded with the Tartan Army to stop swamping them with phone calls about ticket requests for Holland.

Scotland have been allocated around 5000 tickets for the return leg of the European 2004 play-off in the Amsterdam Aren A.

However, almost twice that number of the Scotland Travel Club have applied for the briefs, prompting the SFA to introduce a points system based on the number of away games attended.

SFA spokesman Andy Mitchell said: ``We are working under very tight deadlines for these games. Supporters constantly phoning in asking if they have been allocated a ticket is just slowing up the whole process for everyone.''
