Football: Thistle's SFA plea.
PARTICK THISTLE have asked the SFA to call together their Appeals Committee as quickly as possible to resolve their relegation wrangle with the SPL.
Thistle will hand in their appeal against the SPLs decision relegate them and promote Inverness Caledonian Thistle tomorrow.
Partick director Brown McMaster said: "We are hoping that a quorum of the Appeals Committee can meet with a fortnight. It is in everyone's interest to get this sorted out quickly.
"Whatever the decision is of the SFA's Appeal Committee we will be happy to go along with it.
"I'm a member of the Appeals Committee and obviously I will be stepping down for this vote and I'd expect Rod Petrie of Hibs to do the same.
"We need to have 50 per cent of the committee available to look at the appeal and if need be we can bring in some office bearers from the SFA.
"It's in football's interests that the SFA decide on the matter without any more outside legal involvement.
"This is definitely the final stage of the saga and whatever is decided Partick Thistle will go along with it."
