Football: Team are all pals together; PAYLOR ON WEDNESDAY IN ASSOCIATION WITH SOCCER SENSATIONS.
TUNCAY left no doubts that he was annoyed at being substituted against Spurs.
He was shaking his head in disagreement as he left the field, having never stopped running.
Gareth Southgate will have no complaints if his players show some frustration when hauled off, as long as they don't take any bitterness into the dressing room.
That's because the Boro boss is determined to maintain the squad's unique togetherness.
He plans to keep the squad relatively small, so that virtually all of the senior men play regular Premier League football.
Two weeks ago Southgate was prepared to sell Luke Young because the right-back was not necessarily rowing in the right direction once he heard of Aston Villa's interest.
Attitude is everything at the Boro this season, and there are plenty of positive minded players in the dressing room to ensure everybody stays focused.
In fact Justin Hoyte has left one good dressing room to join another.
Boro have done their homework on Hoyte and have been assured he is a good character, not to mention his qualities as a player.
So he will find no problems settling into the Boro dressing room, nor should the squad have any problems with him.
