Football: Soccer Shorts - EGYPT EEJIT.

EGYPT striker Mido has refused to back down over his blazing row with boss Hassan Shehata - despite being hit with a six-month cap ban.

The Spurs star branded the coach a donkey after being subbed during Friday's African Nations last-four win against Senegal.

But Mido, 22, is unrepentant and he said: "I was angry he decided to replace me.

"I was not that bad and if I had stayed on I would have scored a goal. I am sorry for the fans but I'm not sorry for Shehata."
