Football: Sky Blues line up friendlies.

COVENTRY CITY have added more fixtures to their domestic pre-season programme, with trips to neighbours Nuneaton Borough and Notts County.

The Sky Blues will also travel to Halesowen for a more low key match as Micky Adams prepares his squad for the new Championship campaign.

Although yet to be officially confirmed, the pencilled in fixtures start on Monday, July 17, at Halesowen before the short trip to Manor Park on Thursday 20. Next up is a match at Notts County on Sunday, July 23, and away to Tranmere Rovers on Wednesday 26.

A higher profile home game at the Ricoh Arena is yet to be announced for Saturday, July 29, a week before the season kicks off.

The Sky Blues will be playing two matches in during a United States tour - against Portland Timbers on July 8 and the BYU Cougars on July 12.

Meanwhile, the Sky Blue Supporters Trust will be running coaches to all the pre-season friendly games, leaving from Coventry Sports Centre in Fairfax Street.
