Football: STEPHEN IN MOOD FOR CELTS.

Byline: ROBERT MARTIN

STEPHEN Hughes last night insisted Rangers can bounce back from their Euro heartache to shock Celtic at Parkhead.

The midfielder admitted Alex McLeish's side were shattered after their Champions League dream died against CSKA Moscow on Wednesday.

But he claimed they will use that disappointment as a motivating factor to end a run of six losses against Martin O'Neill's men.

And he warned it was far too early to start writing off the club's season even though they have missed out on the group stages.

He said: "We're gutted about going out but there's nothing we can do now.

"Everyone was confident about getting a result but we didn't play our best.

"They were a good side and obviously took their chance. Steven Thompson did well when he came on and scored a good goal.

"In the end though it wasn't enough and we just have to look forward to Sunday."
