Football: SHEFFIELD United.

Byline: Jonathan Pearce

SHEFFIELD United have public support and they have claimed the moral high ground in the Carlos Tevez (above) affair.

But it's still difficult to see this week's arbitration panel ordering their reinstatement to the Premier League.

They'll have to prove the original ruling was "perverse" - in other words, deliberately favouring West Ham.

That'll be almost impossible. Besides, a counter-claim will come from Upton Park should the new panel favour the Blades. No one will want this dragging on.
