Football: SEIP PAYS FOR SNUB.

Byline: By LEE WEST

PLYMOUTH have slapped Dutch defender Marcel Seip on the transfer list and fined him two weeks' wages after he refused to be a substitute on Saturday.

Centre-back Seip has been a regular this season but, on his 26th birthday, was overlooked in favour of Russell Anderson and Krisztian Timar for the 2-1 home defeat by Charlton.

Boss Paul Sturrock said: "I am fining Marcel two weeks' wages because of his actions.

"It is appropriate to put him on the transfer list as well.

"I also feel that now is the right time for Marcel to get his hernia problem fixed."
